The use of Lenzing Modal® and TENCEL® fibers in the Koni Eco product line are the result of Koni Corporation's partnership with Lenzing Fibers, an innovative fiber manufacturer headquartered in Austria. Koni have offered products made from organic cotton, bamboo, recycled and recyclable polyester for some time, but will now make available items made from Lenzing Modal® and TENCEL® which are 100% natural and biodegradable. Both fibers are derived from wood pulp cellulose extracted from trees harvested from sustainable forests. The Lenzing partnership demonstrates Koni Corporation's commitment to address global warming, and encourages brands, management and ownership groups to transition to biodegradable soft goods.
